However, after submission, they keep asking for resubmission without specifying what was inadequate. The emails received are the same as before, and this is already the fourth time resubmitting.

One month after submission, Reviewer 1 uploaded their comments. However, after waiting for four months, there was still no news from the other reviewers. After reminding once, the official reply stated that the reviewers had been urged and the other reviewers would soon upload their comments. Finally, after about five months, the results were obtained. The review comments were very detailed and the reviewers were very diligent and responsible. After each revision, the reviewers would carefully review the manuscript again and then provide a few minor revision suggestions. This process was repeated several times. Finally, after more than five months, the manuscript was accepted. The subsequent process was much faster. Many thanks to the reviewers for their efforts, and the editorial office was also very friendly and provided timely responses.

It is currently very difficult to find reviewers for Frontiers, but once reviewers are found, the subsequent steps are quick. The submission system and experience are also user-friendly. If your university or hospital does not have any warnings, it is a good choice!
