Accdon participated in AGU’s annual Fall Meeting in Chicago, IL as an exhibitor. It was a wonderful opportunity to exhibit once again, but this year with all of our brands represented: LetPub, Research Creative, and Peeref.
1. What are the publishing costs? It was a pleasure for us to share with attendees that Peeref publishes under a Diamond Open Access model where there are NO publication fees and the posters are free to readers.
2. What fields are covered? AGU covers a huge set of topic. When we assured researchers at AGU that Peeref covered any field, they were immediately interested in passing along this information to other colleagues within their university, not just geoscientists.
Nathan Boutin, coordinator for the Accdon exhibit, shared his experience: “AGU was fantastic. It is great to see so many people from around the world working in the geosciences and other facets of academia and publishing. The event coordinators listen to exhibitor feedback, so everything went smoothly this year. I particularly liked the digital poster session - it was a good alternative to traditional poster presentations.”
